NSW Police Academy Final Leg Torch Exhibition
The relationship between Law Enforcement Torch Run NSW and the NSW Police Academy is very strong. The Academy has been welcoming LETR Committee members for over 20 years to make presentations to the Policing Students.
In addition, we have been displaying Final Leg Torches at the Academy since around 2009.
Earlier this year, the torches found a new home – moving to a hallway situated outside the newly inaugurated ‘Commissioner’s Auditorium’
The move provided us with an opportunity to spruce up the collection.

2025 Cronulla Polar Plunge
The first Polar Plunge of the 2025 season was held at Gunnamatta Bay in Cronulla on Sunday, 27 July, 2025.
2025 Canberra Polar Plunge
Over 150 plungers came to the Canberra Olympic Pool on Sunday, 3 August 2025 to join in on the Polar Plunge.

2025 Goulburn Polar Plunge
Over 200 Police Students and staff from the NSW Police Academy, along with The Hume Police District and local community members took the plunge at the Goulburn Leisure and Aquatic Centre on Wednesday, 30 July 2025.
